Let me introduce myself…
Hi there! I am Kristy Jordan, a qualified Accredited Practising Dietitian offering a variety of services on the Sunshine Coast. With several years of experience, I specialise in providing individual support as both a Dietitian and an NDIS support worker. I also host cooking classes, and nutrition workshops.
I am committed to helping children, adolescents, families, and individuals to develop healthier relationships with food and improve their quality of life. I believe that our connection with food plays a vital role in shaping our lives, and by cultivating a wholesome and enjoyable approach to eating, we can nurture healthy habits that will contribute to our overall wellbeing.
My tailored approach is designed to cater to different age groups, including children, adolescents, and adults. Using innovative strategies, I ensure that every interaction with food is a positive one. My methods encourage exploration, education, and, most importantly, fun!
For parents concerned about their child's relationship with food, I offer guidance and support in nurturing healthy eating habits from an early age. By introducing age-appropriate recipes and creative meal ideas, I empower families to cook and eat together, creating stronger bonds and a shared appreciation for nutritious food.
For adolescents struggling with body image issues or disordered eating, I provide a safe and non-judgmental space. Together, we explore the emotional and psychological aspects that may be influencing their eating habits. By promoting self-care and adopting a mindful approach to food, I help adolescents develop a healthier mindset and rebuild a positive relationship with eating.
Individuals seeking personal or health goals can rely on my expertise to guide them towards success. Whether it's weight management, disease prevention, or general wellbeing, I tailor personalised plans that align with specific needs and preferences. Through coaching and ongoing support, I empower individuals to make informed choices, overcome obstacles, and achieve their desired outcomes.
I am dedicated to working alongside you, offering encouragement, motivation, and sound advice on your journey towards improved health and happiness. Together, we will work collaboratively to reach your personal or health goals. Invest in yourself, your family, or your child's wellbeing today by reaching out to me. Let's discover the joy and fulfilment that comes from experiencing positive and enjoyable food experiences.
